Please let the record show that my bestie Spazy and I went out to alcohol-serving establishments this Christmas break more than we did in all 2009. I found myself at bars 4 out of the 5 nights I was home (including Christmas!), and one night involved a bit of bar hoping, from the Irishman in Williamsville to Founding Fathers downtown.
If anyone ever gives me a hard time about being too much of a home body, I will promptly direct their reading eyes to this post.
This blog is an attempt to record (mostly) everything do in 2010, because I'm finding it difficult to remember, well, everything. I blame too much TV and Internet for turning my 27-year-old brain to mush.

Snow Day #1
I'm assuming there won't be any more of these to require a list, but today was Snow Day #1 for late 2009/2010. The last federal government snow day was 2003, so odds of another one anytime soon are slim.
It was nice to get a grown-up snow day. Part of the bonus day was used to write and address Christmas cards. I'm not bragging; simply observing: My housemates and I look really good in our Christmas card picture. A select 40 people will be receiving The Richard 2009 Christmas Card in the next few days. That is, assuming I remember to mail my portion early tomorrow.

A Year to Remember
This blog is an attempt to record things I read, watch and do, because I'm finding it harder and harder to clearly remember such items. I suppose it's also an homage to my mother, who is forever making lists.
My lists will be in the side panel; the list highlights will be expanded upon in blog posts.
I was thinking of starting the web time capsule of my life in 2010, but I have no patience. Life starts now.
Gee, I hope all of my posts are as exciting as this one.
